**PLEASE REMEMBER: Only submit art that directly relates to the Mother fandom!!**Crossovers are fine. Including OC's and characters from other fandoms is also fine, but there have been a lot of pictures lately that focus too heavily on other elements and only have one small reference to the Mother series (ie. a Mother character way off in the background, one Mr. Saturn among a whole bunch of other unrelated characters, etc). And sometimes the art submitted doesn't even feature Mother characters at all. If you have a question about something,
please ask us! We're always willing to help.
If one of your pieces has been removed and you think this is a mistake, you're welcome to ask about it, but please do so politely and do not attempt to resubmit the rejected artwork unless we give the okay.
Along with these rules, we are placing a daily limit on submissions for each member. This is in an attempt to reduce the inbox flooding. Please remember to think carefully about what you submit. Make sure it is your own work and follows the guidelines. Please also try to remember to submit it to the proper folder (for more details on this, read below).
The rules are as follows...

Original Characters (OC's) are
not allowed unless they are with a canon (official) character of the Mother series.

Submit only your best-quality work. This means: no grainy or blurry photos, no two-minute doodles on notebook paper, etc. Take your time and submit something you are really proud of. You do not have to be an amazing artist or writer, but you should put a fair amount of effort into your work. Clean sketches and lineart are, of course, allowed in the proper category.

Reinventions of canon (official) characters should clearly resemble the character you intend to represent. Some examples of this include: Mother characters drawn as animals/Pokemon, Mother characters drawn in some other form, etc. If you are going to draw a canon character as something other than what they are, it should be obvious who the character is. Mods reserve the right to deny any submissions that they feel do not follow this rule. If you have questions, please ask! One of us will be happy to help.

SUBMIT ONLY YOUR OWN WORK!! A lot of people have been uploading screencaps, desktop pictures, game sprite images, and so on. Please do not do this anymore. Acceptable submissions include artwork, writing, cosplay photos, crafts, etc. ... things that you would create yourself.

Mature submissions are allowed as long as they follow DeviantArt's guidelines and you remember to apply the appropriate mature tags.

Each user is allowed to submit up to 2 items per day. Think carefully, do your best work, and if you have concerns or questions, ask a mod!
Helpful Tips on Submission__________________________________
When submitting to the group from the group's main page, click on the Gallery tab up at the top.
In the gallery, you will see the names of the different folders (Featured, Mother 1, Mother 2, etc). On the right of each title bar is a + symbol. Click this and choose either "Submit a New Deviation" or "Contribute an Existing Deviation." Make sure that you submit it to the appropriate folder. Questions? Just ask!
We may change the folders in the future or add new categories. If this happens, we will make an announcement about it.
Hopefully this clears up a lot of issues. Any questions? Please ask! Someone will be around to help you. You can also send a note to one of the mods, but be aware that we are busy. We can't always drop what we're doing and rush to the scene-of-the-crime, as it were, but we'll do our best!
